Yaesu FT-991A

My first HF transceiver. Max 100W output, used for digital modes, SSB and FM. Mounted on a portable plate to quickly deploy it to my shacks or take it into the field for mobile operations.

Yaesu FT-736R

FT-736R with activated repeater shift and 1750Hz burst for DM0MAX.

My oldtimer for 23cm, 70cm and 2m at my QTH. Connected with a triplexer to Diamond X5000. Build in 1988. 25W on 70cm and 2m. 10W on 23cm. Repaired with working VFO encoder and channel dial. Retrofitted with FTS-8 module. Original Yaesu MD-1 microphone.

Yaesu FT-818ND

Mounted in our Defender for 2m/70cm and HF QRP operations. I guess this will be replaced with an FTM500DE in the future, because when operating outside, I mostly take my FT-991A with me as 6W is simply not enough to reach all the local repeaters conveniently.

Yaesu FTM-500DE

Used for receiving and transmitting in our mobile home or Defender. 50W FM on 70cm and 2m. Build in APRS modem.

Yaesu FT-5DE

HT mainly used for satellite operations and to take part in the local club round from the terrace. Operated with Diamond RH-771 antenna or with Arrow Antenna 146/437-10BP.

Yaesu FT-23R

Inherited from Dad.

Winter-Shack

In the winter months my shack is located in the attic of our house. Here I have a heating and a cozy room which already my parents used to operate from.

Summer-Shack

In the summer months, I take all my equipment downstairs, because it’s too hot in the attic.
